2 c. warm milk 1 cube butter 3 eggs, beat 3/4 c. sugar 2 pkg. yeast Approximately 12 c. flour Bring milk to a boil. Put butter in milk. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water plus 1/4 teaspoon sugar. Melt butter and milk; cool. Beat eggs in the milk and butter mixture. Add flour, sugar and yeast. Raise 2 times, punch down. FILLING: 1 can canned milk 3 eggs, beaten 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 c. honey 2 lbs. walnuts, ground fine Heat on stove the milk, eggs, cinnamon. Boil, then add sugar and honey, then nuts. Roll out. Raise. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
