1 peck tomatoes
4 lg. onions
3 red or green peppers
1 c. vinegar
3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. pickling spice in bag
1 tbsp. salt

Cook tomatoes, onions and red or green peppers together and strain, then add remaining ingredients. Cook to half boiling and add: 1/4 c. vinegar

Add 1/4 teaspoon pepper and 1/4 teaspoon turmeric. Bottle and seal.
