24 HOUR SALAD (7 LAYERS) 
1 head lettuce, torn by hand into 2-inch pieces
1 onion, chopped
3 stems celery, chopped
1 pepper, chopped
1 pkg. sliced almonds
1 pkg. frozen peas, freshly thawed
2 c. mayonnaise with a little milk and sugar added

Do not stir above ingredients. Place lettuce in pan. Mix onion, celery, and pepper and add as second layer. Almonds are third layer. Use peas as fourth layer. Spread mayonnaise like you would ice a cake. Put the above in refrigerator 24 hours.

Add a few cut-up tomatoes as fifth layer. Add 4 or 5 cut-up hard-boiled eggs as sixth layer. Brown 1/2 pound bacon and crumble. Add as seventh layer. Add above ingredients and again, do not stir. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
