SWEET BRISKET OF BEEF 
1 (2 to 3 lb.) brisket of beef or pot roast
1 c. sweet red wine
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 pkg. fresh mushrooms or 1 lg. can
2 lg. onions, sliced

Line roasting pan with foil and place in meat. Sprinkle meat with onion soup mix. Next cover meat with wine and spread cranberry sauce over top. Let marinate 1 hour. Slice onions and mushroom over top of meat. Cover entire dish with foil and roast in oven at 350 degrees for approximately 2 to 3 hours or until tender.
