2 1/2 c. dried apples, cooked
2 sticks butter
1 box dark raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. pecans
2 c. sugar
4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Blend sugar and butter, sift dry ingredients together. Mix with sugar mixture and add raisins, pecans and apples. Pour into tube pan and cook one hour at 350 degrees. The longer this cake sets, the better it becomes.
