OLD FASHION LEMON MERINGUE PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. lemon juice
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
3 egg whites, stiff
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
6 tbsp. sugar

Mix sugar and flour in saucepan. Add water and lemon juice. Cook until slightly thick. Add egg yolks. Cook until thick. Cool. Pour into baked pie shell. Cover with meringue. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes or until a delicate brown.
