PECAN CRISPIES 
1/2 c. butter
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugars together until light. Add egg and vanilla and beat for 2 minutes. Sift dry ingredients together and blend to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
