WALDORF CAKE (CHOCOLATE
BUTTERMILK CAKE)
 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. water
2 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring butter, water and cocoa to boil, cool slightly to touch. Add sugar, beat. Add all other ingredients; save flour for last. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Can use regular milk with 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar for buttermilk.
