CLAM CHOWDER | |
1/4 c. finely chopped bacon 1/4 c. minced onion 1 pt. clams or 2 (7 oz.) canned clams 2 c. diced potatoes 2 c. milk 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Saute bacon and onion. Drain clams, add liquid, potatoes, and water to onion and bacon. Cook until potatoes are tender, 10 minutes. Just before serving add clams, milk, salt, and pepper. heat to boil, stirring occasionally. |
