WHOLE WHEAT BREAD | |
6 c. warm water 1 rounded tbsp. salt 3/4 c. sugar 2 qts. whole wheat flour 2 tbsp. level or less yeast 3/4 c. oil Mix all together, no need to soak the yeast. Then add 2 more quarts Accident bread flour or more until hands are no longer sticky. Let rise 2 hours. Then knead again; let rise 1 hour, then put in 8 pans and bake at 325 degrees. The trick for soft bread is add flour until no longer sticky and plenty of oil in pan when rising plus lower heat helps to not dry it out so much. |
