FROSTED CINNAMON RAISIN BISCUITS 
3 c. sifted all purpose flour
2 heaping tbsp. sugar
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. butter
1 1/3 c. buttermilk
1 c. raisins

Sift flour. Add all remaining dry ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add raisins and mix. Add buttermilk, mix well until blended with spoon. (Dough will be sticky.) Knead 10 to 15 times until dough forms a ball. Place on well floured board and roll to desired thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees or until lightly brown. Remove from oven. Cool slightly and frost. Makes 15 to 18 biscuits.

FROSTING:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well. If too thick, add a little more milk. Frost biscuits.
