LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD | |
1 head lettuce, in bite sized pieces 1 c. celery, cut up 4 eggs, hard boiled and diced 1 pkg. frozen peas (don't cook) 1/2 green pepper, diced 1 sweet onion 8 slices bacon, fried and diced 2 c. mayonnaise 4 oz. Cheddar cheese (grated) 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper 2 tbsp. sugar Layer in 9 x 12 inch dish the first 7 ingredients. Mix mayonnaise with sugar and lemon pepper. Spread on top as frosting. Top with cheese; cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours at serving time garnish with additional bacon and parsley, if desired. |
