SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES 
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. butter
5 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cream of tartar
4 tbsp. sugar

Cream sugar, eggs, butter until smooth. Add dry ingredients, mix well. Mix 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar in small bowl, set aside. Roll dough in 1-inch balls and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture and place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Cool. Makes 6 dozen.
