SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Make tiny balls. Roll in 4 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees or until slightly browned.
