CUSTARD PIE 
1 (9 in.) unbaked pie shell
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (sprinkle on top before baking)
2 2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs slightly and add remaining ingredients. Bake in 450 degree oven for 20 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes more. When knife comes out clean, pie is done.
