DILLY BEANS | |
2 lbs. fresh green beans 2 tsp. cayenne pepper 2 heads dill 2 1/2 c. vinegar 4 cloves garlic, sliced 2 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. salt Pack beans into hot sterilized jars (pint) with about 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/2 clove garlic and 1/2 head dill in each jar. Bring water, vinegar and salt to a boil. Pour over the beans leaving 1/2 inch headspace and seal. Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes. Let stand 2 to 4 weeks. |
