The smell was not fresh. I just want to say onions and dill do not go together well. Hmm...baked onions...was not good idea.

Silly remark! If fish that you bought wasn't fresh what's that got to do with how you cooked it or a recipe? Never store fish for more than 2 days in the refrigerator. Start with fresh fish or a recipe can't help you.

The ingredients in this recipe aren't much more than fish with a tartar sauce. I found it to be quite good.

I agree that first reviewers comment is a bit confusing-yes this is a simple recipe basically for fish baked with homemade tartar sauce, nothing out of the ordinary (I had no weird smells). Have tried with tilapia and grouper, sometimes adding parsley. My husband loves this, I like it too as long as I do not accidentally brush too much mayo on the fish (made that mistake the first time). If you like tartar sauce I think this is worth a try!

Loved this recipe for the simplicity. I used grouper and it was delicious. I will use this recipe again!
