CHICKEN GUMBO 
1 lg. fryer
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. cooking oil
1 pkg. Okra
1 can tomatoes
1 1/2 c. chopped onions
1 c. celery
2 1/2 lb. link sausage
2 buds garlic, chopped
Salt & pepper

Boil fryer, debone, save 2 quarts liquid. Make a roux with flour and oil. Add onions, celery and garlic. Saute. Pour in chicken broth. Boil and add chicken and sausage. Boil 1 hour. Add okra and tomatoes. Cook for 30 minutes longer.
