PARTY CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 pt. cottage cheese
1/4 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
Salt
Garlic powder
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
1 tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. minced onion
Pepper
1/2 c. frozen peas (optional)

Boil noodles 10 minutes. Set aside. Brown ground beef in butter, season to taste, with salt and pepper. Add tomato sauce. Set aside.

Stir together cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream, mix in onions and green peppers, season with salt, pepper and a dash of garlic powder. Add peas. Spread half the noodles in buttered 11 x 13 inch casserole, cover with cheese mixture. Put remaining noodles on top of cheese, then spread over all beef - tomato mixture. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan or grated cheddar cheese. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees, longer if made ahead and refrigerated.
