RELISH 
6 lg. cucumbers, peeled and seeded
1 qt. onions
1 qt. green tomatoes
12 hot peppers, seed (wear rubber gloves)
1/2 c. salt
2 tbsp. mustard seed
2 tbsp. celery seed
2 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. salt
6 c. sugar
1 qt. vinegar

Grind cucumbers, onions, green tomatoes, and peppers. Add salt and let stand overnight. Drain and hang 2 1/2 hours. Add rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil; boil for 20 minutes. Put in hot jars and seal.

Let hang means to put relish in cloth bag and hang up to drain.
