HOME MADE SODA CRACKERS | |
4 c. flour (1/2 - 2/3 whole wheat) 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. salt 1 c. milk Mix dry ingredients. Blend in butter until mixture is mealy. Add enough milk to make stiff dough. Roll out on floured board to 1/4 inch thick or less! Cut into squares with tines of fork. Brush top of each square with milk (there should be some left from mixing with dry ingredients). Salt lightly. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 425 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. ALL whole wheat flour may be substituted but produce is not as crispy. |
