BUTTERSCOTCH PIE 
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. boiling water
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. milk
6 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter; add sugar and allow to brown in pan. Then add boiling water gradually. Beat egg yolks with small amount of the milk; add flour and salt, then the remaining milk. Stir into sugar mixture and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
