MOM'S BUTTERSCOTCH PIE 
4 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. flour
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt and brown butter. Add brown sugar and flour. Mix egg yolks and milk together and add. Cook until thick, stirring. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Add meringue and brown.

MERINGUE:

Beat 3 egg whites and 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar. Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed). Brown in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
