VENISON JERKY 
1 lb. venison (cut in strips to the thickness you want)
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. warm water
1 tbsp. liquid smoke

Soak meat in mixture overnight, hand meat on toothpicks on oven rack with oven set at 150 degrees. Leave door open a crack and bake for 2 to 4 hours or until dry.
