CHEESECAKE BARS | |
1/3 c. softened butter 1/3 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 c. flour 1 (8 oz.) block cream cheese (room temperature) 3/4 c. granulated sugar 2 tbsp. milk 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla Cream brown sugar and butter together. Add nuts and flour until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup mixture and press remaining into a square baking dish. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown. Set aside to cool. Cream white sugar into soft cream cheese. Mix well. Add milk, lemon juice, vanilla and egg. When smooth, pour over cooled crust evenly. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake 25 minutes more. Cool and cut into squares or triangles. |
