1 lb. sausage, crumbled, cooked, drained
Beat together 8 eggs or egg substitute, 2 cups milk, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon dry mustard. Cube 5 slices white bread and lay in buttered 13 x 9 inch dish. Add sausage and pour egg mixture over all of this. Top with 1 cup shredded cheese.
Fix the night before serving and refrigerate. In the morning, bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 10 people. May also add onions and green peppers.
This is especially good for Christmas morning breakfast because it can bake while the presents are being opened!
