ELEPHANT STEW 
1 elephant
4 ton carrots
286 stalks celery
6 lbs. salt
110 lbs. potatoes
2 rabbits (optional)

Cut elephant into bite-sized cubes. Add carrots, celery, potatoes and salt. Add enough water to cover vegetables. Cook over kerosene fire for 4 weeks at 465 degrees. Yields about 3, 800 servings. If more guests are expected, add the rabbits. However, add rabbits only if necessary, as most people do not like hare in their stew. Ha! Ha!
