ICEBOX COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
6 c. flour
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped

This is a large recipe. It makes 4 rolls of cookie dough, of which should be stored in the refrigerator overnight before baking. I usually bake as needed or all can be baked and put in the deep freeze. This is great for bake sales.
