PASTA ALA BROCCOLI | |
1 lb. pasta, any shape 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli 2 cloves garlic 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 med. onion, diced 1/2 lb. fresh mushroom 1/2 c. grated Romano cheese 1/2 tsp. oregano Salt and pepper to taste Saute onion in olive oil until clear; add minced garlic and broccoli; cover and simmer 7 minutes. Add pasta cooked el dente, mushroom, oregano, salt and pepper. Let simmer 3 minutes; toss with fresh grated Romano cheese and serve as side dish or as main course with tossed salad and garlic bread. |
