8 tbsp. butter 1 c. pecan pieces 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. old fashioned rolled oats 1 c. pecan halves Heat oven to 325 degrees. Line baking sheets with foil. Melt butter. Grind pecan pieces and sugar in food processor. Combine the nut mixture, flour, baking powder and salt. Beat together butter, vanilla and egg. Stir into the flour mixture and add the oats and pecan halves. Drop by level teaspoon about 3 inches apart on baking sheets. Bake until golden brown, approximately 8 minutes. Cool completely on foil. |
