PEPPERMINT CHOCOLATE SQUARES 
2 sq. (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped (optional

2ND LAYER:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. whipping cream or milk
3/4 tsp. peppermint extract
4 drops green coloring

3RD LAYER:

1 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips
3 tbsp. vegetable oil

Melt chocolate and butter in glass bowl on high 2 minutes. Stir in remaining 1st layer ingredients. Pour into 8 inch square glass pan. Microwave 5-6 minutes on high. Turn 1/4-1/2 way through cooking.

Mix together 2nd layer ingredients. Spread over 1st layer. Refrigerate to harden.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
