BEEFY LASAGNA 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 can Hunt's Manwich sauce
1/2 c. water
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cottage cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. oregano
3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese

Cook noodles according to package directions. Cook beef in skillet until it loses redness; drain fat. Stir in Hunt's Manwich sauce, water, garlic, basil and salt. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley and oregano. Place half the noodles in a 2-quart oblong baking dish. Top with half the cottage cheese mixture and half the Mozzarella cheese. Spread half the meat mixture over. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut into squares. Makes 8 servings.
