MERINGUE COOKIES 
1 egg white
1 pinch salt
1 c. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. pecans

Beat egg white until stiff. Add salt. Add sugar, a tablespoon at a time, beating after each spoonful. Stir in pecans. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Do not preheat oven. Bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes.
