WHEAT GERM MUFFINS 
1 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and stir in wheat germ. Cut in Crisco. Combine egg and milk and add to dry ingredients. Stir until just blended. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
