GOOSEBERRY PIE 
1 unbaked pie shell
2 c. gooseberries
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter

Mix together the gooseberries, sugar, flour, egg, and salt. Pour into pie shell.

Make topping as follows: Mix together brown sugar, flour, and butter. Sprinkle over gooseberry mixture and bake at 350 degrees about 50 minutes.
