BEST HOME-MADE CHICKEN STRIPS
This recipe is a FAVORITE of everyone who has eaten it! Your family will RAVE over it. Enjoy! I'm glad to share it with others!

1 or 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (depends on how many you're feeding. 2 will feed about 3 or 4 people)
butter
garlic salt or powder (I use garlic salt)
=all-purpose flour
salt and pepper
onion powder
chili powder
vegetable oil (for deep fryer)

Cut chicken breasts into strips. Sized to your liking.

Put butter in a microwave safe bowl. And add some garlic salt. Put butter and garlic salt in microwave til melted.

In a mixing bowl, put in flour. Then add garlic salt, salt and pepper, onion powder, and chili powder all together (for breading). Enough to cover the the top of the flour (don't go overboard. Use your judgement, that's what I do). Mix together.

Put chicken strips in butter and garlic salt mixture. Mix chicken, and Butter mixture enough to cover the chicken strips.

Heat oil in deep fryer.

Place chicken strips in flour mixture. Cover chicken well.

Slowly place chicken strips in deep fryer. Fry for about 3-5 minutes or until brown.

Best if eaten with ranch dressing, or ranch dip!

Please note: Ingredients have all been done using my judgement, so, I really do not know exactly how much to put in. Took me two times to perfect this recipe. The first time, I used eggs, instead of the garlic butter. It was not as good, so, I tried the butter.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
