Add 1 stick butter and butternut flavoring. Cook and cool. Frosting: Mix sugar, butter, softened cream cheese and walnuts. When cake is real cool frost. | |

Based upon the ingredients this sounds like the original recipe. Pecans can be substituted for walnuts. This is far and away my very favorite cake.
