OATMEAL CANDY COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick cooking oats

Combine sugar, butter and milk in saucepan; bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add peanut butter, vanilla and oats; mix well. Drop by spoon on waxed paper or pour into a lightly greased shallow pan, smoothing lightly. Mark into squares. The longer this sets, the better the flavor.
