MEATLOAF 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. tomato juice
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. oats, uncooked
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients; mix well. Press firmly into an ungreased 8 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. catsup
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
1 to 1 1/2 c. water

Mix together well and pour over meatloaf the last 30 minutes.
