SIX-WEEK BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. All-Bran
1 1/2 c. Bran Flakes
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 pt. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Pour boiling water over All Bran and Bran Flakes cereal; stir and cool. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and buttermilk alternately with flour, soda and salt mixture. Mix well and add bran mixture. Add nuts if desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

Can store batter in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. Bake as desired.
