AUNT THEATUS'S CHICKEN
TETRAZZINI
 
White Sauce:

Melt 2 tablespoons butter and add 1/4 cup flour. Cook until bubbly and add 1 1/2 cups milk. Cool until thick. Add 1 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, grated, 1 small can mushrooms and 2 cups of cooked cubed chicken. Diced pimento may be added.

Pour over 1 1/2 cups cooked noodles or spaghetti in a greased casserole. Top with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Dot with butter and Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes, covered. Uncover and bake another 15 minutes.

Turkey or tuna may be used instead of the chicken.
