CARAMEL SAUCE 
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 c. pineapple juice
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar with cornstarch, add juice, cook stirring until thick. Add butter and vanilla, mixing well. Serve warm over cake. Your juice from the can of pineapple does not make a cup so add a little water to make a cup.
