RHUBARB DESSERT 
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg

Mix dry ingredients. Add butter, mix well. Add 1 egg. Mix well and press into long cake pan. Cover with 5 cups cut rhubarb. Pour over 1 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons flour. Then pour over 4 beaten egg yolks, 1 cup milk. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Spread meringue and bake till brown.

MERINGUE:

4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
Vanilla
