Round steak Med. onion, sliced and cut into sm. pieces Green pepper, sliced and cut into sm. pieces Sm. can mushrooms 3-4 stalks celery, cut into sm. pieces 2 (12 oz.) cans tomato juice 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 can water Pound round steak until thick. Cut into individual size serving pieces. Sprinkle with flour, salt, pepper. Brown in large oven safe frying pan in oil. Add celery, pepper and onion and cool slightly. Add tomato juice, sauce and water. Sprinkle 1-2 tsp. flour on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Take cover off and continue baking 1/2 hour. |
