CORN CHOWDER 
Ham bone, smoked hocks, or smoked neck bones
6 c. water
4 c. cubed potatoes
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
1 to 2 cans cream style corn
1 c. milk
1 tsp. parsley flakes
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine water and ham bones. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Cook and remove chunks of meat. Add potatoes, salt and pepper, onion, parsley flakes, corn, milk, and ham chunks. Cook until potatoes are tender. Best cooked ahead and reheated. May be frozen.
