CHILI 
CHILI SEASONING MIX:

1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. instant minced onion
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. seasoned salt (may substitute Mrs. Dash for 1/2 of the salt)
1/2 tsp. crushed dried red pepper (optional)
1/2 tsp. instant minced garlic
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cumin

Combine these dry ingredients and set aside.

CHILI:

1 lb. lean ground beef (or chili meat)
2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
1 recipe of chili seasoning mix (see above)

Brown ground beef or chili meat in medium skillet over medium-heat. Drain. Add tomatoes and Chili Seasoning Mix. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

NOTE: Meat may be cooked in boiling water until it turns brown, then drain well and use as browned meat above. Less grease is left on the meat this way.
