CHILI BEANS 
4 c. dry Pinto beans
4 lb. hamburger meat, browned, drained
3 sm. chili peppers, remove before serving
1 bay leaf, remove before serving
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 lg. can tomatoes, chopped
1 jar of taco sauce or can
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tsp. comino (cumin)
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper

Cook beans until they are about half done. Add other ingredients and finish cooking. Serve with cornbread.
