SALLY LUNN BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. milk, lukewarm
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour

Soften yeast in lukewarm milk. Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add salt to flour. Add dry mixture to butter mixture alternately with milk-yeast mixture. Beat well with wooden spoon and pour into well buttered bowl. Let rise 1-2 hours.

Beat again and pour into a buttered tube pan and let rise about 40 minutes; until very light. Bake 40 minutes in 350 degree oven until brown on top. Serve hot with melted butter.
