LEMON BARS 
1 box Betty Crocker lemon cake mix
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 egg

Mix until crumbly, reserving 1 cup. Pat into ungreased pan (9x13) and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. 1 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt (optional) 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 c. lemon juice 2 tsp. grated lemon peel

Mix well and pour onto cake. Sprinkle on reserved cup of dry mixture. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. After removing from oven, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
