SUMMERTIME FRUIT BREAD | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese 1 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs 2 1/4 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 (17 oz.) can fruit cocktail 1/2 c. chopped nuts Blend cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time. Gradually add flour and baking powder. Fold in drained fruit and nuts. Bake in 2 greased loaf pans at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until tested done. Cool in pans 5-10 minutes. Remove and cool thoroughly. |
